Wednesday after school programme has been a fun activity.

The students learn communication, social and leadership skills. The main focus is on developing leadership qualities so that students can display these qualities in school and other social situations.

In terms of improving social skills, the

sessions are conducted with play activities, storytelling, showing and understanding emotions, empathy and through conversations.

The main focus for this term has been on selected qualities of a leader - showing kindness, making friendships, showing respect, and dealing with bullying etc.

It is believed that these sessions can make a difference in their lives through increased self-esteem, motivation to be part of what is happening in the school and community and being proactive in giving up time to show these qualities.
